Anthony Brace

Anthony Brace, CEO

Anthony Brace is the founding partner at CDCI and has over 12 years experience as a business owner and company executive. Anthony founded Canadian Development Consultants International Inc.(CDCI) in 1998 with his brother and company CFO, Michael Brace. They grew the company into Canada’s largest Applied and Historical Research and Litigation Support Services Company.

Anthony is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and President of CDCI. In this capacity he is responsible for the overall strategic management of CDCI.

Anthony has over 12 years research and project management experience. Anthony has a Graduate Degree in Business Administration and an Undergraduate Degree in Political Science.

Michael Brace

Michael Brace, CFO

Michael is one of two founding partners at CDCI, and has over 12 years experience as both a business owner and financial executive. Michael co-founded Canadian Development Consultants International Inc. (CDCI) with his brother and company President, Anthony Brace, in 1998.

Michael is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for CDCI. In this capacity he is responsible for the overall financial and strategic management of all CDCI Operations.

Michael is a Certified Management Accountant with 17 years in finance and accounting. Prior to CDCI, Michael was the Director of Finance and Operations for AG Hair Cosmetics, Canada’s largest locally-owned manufacturing company of hair care products.

J.M. McCutcheon

J.M. McCutcheon, Vice President of Research

Dr. Jo-Anne McCutcheon is Vice President of Research. She joined CDCI in January 2003 and opened the Eastern Operations office and has overseen extensive growth in Ottawa. Jo is responsible for research strategies and standards, project budgets and delivery, and client service.

Prior to joining CDCI, Jo had more than 10 years of experience undertaking research for parliamentarians, Agriculture Canada, Indian and Northern Affairs and the private sector. Through a government appointment, she served as a Board Member of the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) , served as a SSHRC program committee member, and has been active with the local Ottawa Historical Association. From 1997 to 2002 Jo was President, and owned and operated Humanities Research and Associates. In this capacity she undertook archival, historical and policy research.

Jo holds her doctorate in Canadian history from the University of Ottawa. She continues to be involved in academia, and undertakes sessional teaching positions at the University’s History department.

Tony Baldock

Tony Baldock, Vice-President Business Development

Tony is a seasoned executive with over 25 years experience in senior management. He is presently the Vice President Business Development for CDCI, Canada’s largest Historical Research Company. He is responsible for marketing, sales, communications, partnership programs, advertising and pricing.

Tony has a varied background including 14 years in finance and accounting. This has culminated in various CFO positions, 15 years in General Management and Business Development, 5 years in strategic business consulting, and 3 years in project management.

Prior to joining CDCI, Tony formed a proprietary strategic business consulting firm and engaged with Public Works and Government Servies Canada in the Shared Services initiatives as a strategic advisor.

Tony was Vice President of Sales and Services for Computer Science Corporation (CSC), Vice President and General Manager of Canadian Public Sector for Unisys Corporation, and Vice President and Managing Director of Fujitsu Canada.

Tony is a Certified General Accountant, and attended St Lawrence Community College in Kingston, Ontario. He continuously seeks further education through training in project management methodologies, risk mitigation, quality management and change management.

Tony Baldock

Clayton Buckingham, Vice President, Finance and Administration

Clayton is responsible for the execution of CDCI’s strategic plan for Finance, Human Resources and Information Systems. He will provide mentorship and career direction to all staff within these departments. Along with Clayton’s designation as a Certified Management Accountant, he brings to CDCI considerable experience both in large companies and entrepreneurial ventures.

With this final appointment to our Executive Team we are confident we have the necessary skill sets to take CDCI to the next level within the Research Industry.

Theona Russow

Theona Russow, Research Manager- Western Canada

Theona Russow is Research Manager- Western Canada. Theona joined CDCI in February 2001, contributing to the expansion of the research department in the West. Prior to working for CDCI, she worked for the Provincial Government, Federal Government and Non-Governmental Organizations in the area of First Nations, environmental and education research and policy development. To conduct her research and development projects, she has lived abroad in Mexico and Ecuador.

Theona holds her Undergraduate Degree in Political Science with a focus on International Relations, and holds her Masters in Public Administration from the University of Victoria.
